Art Fun

My family loves anything that is nostalgic for the yesteryear of small town America. One such event is the Liberty Day celebration in Columbiana Alabama. With streets full of venders and people in Barney Fife attire, this small town event was a joy to attend.

The highlight of the day was a visit to the Shelby County Arts Council. Outside the building was a large canvas for all who desire to paint. It was fun to pass by it several times during the day to see how it was taking shape. My kids spent some time on the artwork.
